Aims and Scope

The Malaysian Journal of Distance Education (MJDE) is an international peer-review journal that features reports on research findings, theoretical discussions and technical developments that contributes significantly to knowledge in the area of online and distance education. The wide range of relevant subjects comprises practical usage of technology for design, e-learning, flexible delivery systems, application of technology in distance and online learning, innovative teaching methods, lifelong learning and continuing education. The content of the journal is potentially of interest to policy makers, administrators, academicians, teachers and students within the area of distance education.

Peer Review Policy

Post-initial editor screening, all submitted manuscripts will undergo double-blind peer review process by (at least) two anonymous referees who are the subject experts.

Manuscript Length and Format

The manuscript (in English) should be in Times New Roman, size 12 font, double-spaced, approximately 5,000-10,000 words in length and formatted according to the journal’s author guidelines. For further information, please refer Submission Guideline.

Manuscript Submission

All manuscripts must be submitted electronically via the ScholarOne Manuscripts website at http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/mjde. ScholarOne Manuscripts allows for rapid submission of original and revised manuscripts. It facilitates the review process and internal communication between authors, editors and reviewers via a web-based platform.
